Job Description:
-Client is seeking a P&C Insurance Integration/Technical Analyst with 8 years' experience

Responsibilities:
-Ability to guide the user in identifying business requirements, analysis, specification, and the ability to apply them in practice for implementing solutions for P&C Insurance.
-Determine and document data mapping rules (including metadata and dependencies) from medium to complex source data fields to their related target data fields.
-Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing said data.
-Evaluate interface system impacts due to changes to the source production systems.
-Evaluate the accuracy of data from multiple internal and external sources, identify relationships, perform quality audits, and identify data gaps/anomalies.
-Validate ingestion routines; identify and resolve data integrity issues.
-Drive testing activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of the ingested data.
-Perform data validation to ensure it reconciles with to and from source systems
-Designing and developing data integrations between third-party front-end systems and enterprise data platform.
-Technical understanding of databases, flow diagrams, some ability to read and/or write code and scripts.
-Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and business concepts to technical audiences.
-Travel as required, approximately 30%.

Qualifications:
-Strong business analysis skills to get at true business need. Exposure to a variety of data technologies (Relational, NoSQL, Data Warehouses).
-Familiarity with data transformation best practices.
-Ad-hoc reporting is essential.
-Solid understanding of relational databases, such as Oracle and SQL.
-Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Experience with data modelling, a plus.
-Experience with data quality management, master data management and data governance solutions a plus.
-Project experience working on a development team utilizing various Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
-5 plus years Property & Casualty insurance experience across various Lines of Business (Personal and/or Commercial lines)
-7+ years' experience as Application Developer, including requirements gathering, design/coding, testing.
-In depth knowledge of all transactional aspects of the life cycle of an insurance policy, a plus.
-Exposure to object-oriented programming.
-Competency in data models, database design development and data segmentation techniques.
-Competency in SQL querying, XML/XSLT, X-Query, SQL.
-Competency in developing and/or supporting system integrations, a plus.
-Competency in Java, expertise in JSON, RESTful services, and similar related technologies
-Education: B.A / B.S degree )
