Job Description:
-Client is seeking a Lead Automation Architect

-Client is seeking a Lead Automation Architect - Enterprise Shared Services
-Client is seeking a Lead Automation Architect with a proven track record that can bring the passion, work ethic and expertise needed to lead other Automation Architects across horizontal business units. This is a senior leadership role focused on scaling the organization and practices and delivering best-in-class with fit for purpose automation repeatability and scalability. Must be able to provide high quality at a competitive velocity, managing other automation architects and driving both waterfall and agile methodologies across multiple teams.
Working in partnership with application development, you will establish strategic and operational testing technology best practices, processes and tools to effectively and efficiently design and architect test automation frameworks with a 'fit for purpose' in mind.
-This role is also responsible for continual development and implementation of transformative programs to change and improve quality within the organization. Will also be responsible for continued development and success of testing careers through mentoring and coaching.
-Must drive, manage and lead through:
-Extensive experience working with end-to-end testing processes and methodologies/frameworks
-Deep experience implementing complex test automation using Agile automation techniques and tools
-Ability to articulate the role of testing in an overall QA function and to influence a team of testers and developers towards a culture of fail early and building quality in
-Exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodology
-Exposure to development environments using Continuous Integration (CI)
-Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
-Make data-driven recommendations to enhance operational excellence, leading the implementation of new processes and activities
-Experience analyzing business requirements, functional specifications
-Experience with agile workload planning and management (Stories, Tasks, etc.)
-Preparation of defect reports and defect metrics, preferably automated
-Drive Quality Practices and Standards across the Organization
-Champion the culture of quality delivery through development engineering and product management
-Process-oriented mindset and high degree of familiarity with modern test technologies and tools
-Must have experience in leading test automation initiatives
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
-Strong organizational skills
-Strong knowledge of test-related aspects of agile software methodologies
-Degree in CS, Engineering or other technical/analytical degrees, preferred.
-10+ years of related technical and business leadership experience with technical discipline
-10+ years of management in leading large teams using various SDLC methodologies, i.e., Agile/Waterfall
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal) including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
-Strong organizational skills
-Strong experience in financial services payments industry
-QA Experience
-Waterfall and Agile
-Payment Domain experience
-Specifically Credit & Debit Cards
-Technologies (CORE)
-Services (SOAP/Restful)
-Automation Mid or Sr. Level Experience
-TOSCA (highly desired) or equivalent tools
