Tekmark Teams with Women Veterans in Transition to Civilian Work Life

Alongside companies such as CBS, CVS, Caliper, and American Corporate Partnership, Tekmark Global Solutions was selected by Operation Reinvent to participate in an exclusive webcast at CBS Studios in NYC on June 8, 2016, coaching female veterans across the country in securing their transition to the civilian work force. Having over 35 years of experience in the technology industry, Tekmark's ability to offer unparalleled knowledge and career assistance was paramount to the event.

Women serving our country fill a special place among us and Tekmark is proud to offer guidance, utilizing our resume advice, interview tips, career counseling, and skills translation services to assist these talented and courageous women in their next professional opportunity. Operation Reinvent is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing expert guidance and resources to help transitioning military women identify career paths that suit their skills, education, goals and interests. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate for women veterans is 11.2%, a figure 5% higher than their male counterparts and more than double the current 5% national unemployment rate. Operation Reinvent's Career Transition and Empowerment Program incorporates hands-on professional image development, stress management, year-long mentoring and real-time job search opportunities.
